To further strengthen our " Customer Support " department and provide a first class technical support, we are currently looking for a "Customer Support Engineer".

The position

As "Customer Support Engineer" your main responsibilities for this role are:

• Provide international technical assistance (software, application & configuration support) for our Protection and Condition Monitoring Systems to customers, subsidiaries and representatives • Provide technical training (hardware & software) • Troubleshooting of MSS Energy systems, either on site or from Headquarters by phone, e-mail or remote desktop sharing • Installation & Commissioning of MSS Energy hardware and software on site (power plants, industrial sites,...) • Provide feedback from the field to our sales and development departments via all communication media such as written reports, presentations & meetings • Create and present training material for sales, subsidiaries and representatives • Create white papers for case studies and site applications • System "Factory Acceptance Tests" in house and 'Site Acceptance Test' at the customers' premises including preparation, realisation and reporting • Project Management in coordination with end users and OEMs • Customer complaints and warranty treatments of MSS Energy installations, products & systems • Repair & Retrofit treatments of MSS Energy products & systems • Record Customer Support cases to create a database of treated issues and to make solutions available to other Customer Support Engineers • Application of the ISO 9001 and other relevant ethics, processes, standards and Meggitt Export Control policy

Your profile

• Engineering degree (EPF or HES) in the field of Electronics, Mechanics or other relevant field • Excellent problem solving skills • A passion for high-tech equipments and systems • Hands-on, curious and creative personality • A previous related experience • Hardware and software engineering skills • Willing to travel globally around 20% of the time • Strong computer skills • Fluent in German, good level of English, French as an asset • Autonomous and pro-active, good communication skills, customer orientated
