To further strengthen our " Supply Chain " department, we are currently looking for a "Planning Manager" who will drive all the planning processes both demand and supply for the plant.

The position

• Manage all steps of SIOP process and make sure objectives of the cycle are met. Provide improvement ideas to enhance the SIOP process • Provide production with a meaningful manufacturing planning taking into account all constraints of the manufacturing department • Directing and coaching planning teams in their day to day business, make sure performance is adequate. Create and maintain Personal Appraisal and development plan • Manage tactical purchasing activities and play a key role into the SIOP cycle as the person will provide input and will be in charge to translate the high level SIOP plan into a schedule broken down in month and weeks • Interface with sales department to establish demand plan. Closely follow-up orders from sales and make sure no order is stopped because of Order Processing • Manages performance of OP through KPI and DLA, put actions in place to bridge gaps and achieve performance. Improve planning processes and procedures • Drive and improve SIOP process core track. Educate people in SIOP knowledge. Continue to deploy SIOP awareness and culture • Manage a team and take all actions to develop and train it • Interface with value streams managers establish supply plan. Make sure the plan could get reached and setup counter-measures if plan isn't met • Make the link between planning, purchasing and the value streams • Contributing to Daily/Weekly Management at DLA in designed areas • Maintaining planning metrics, project plan and progress tracking using designated tools such as ISPP, KPI, project reports, minutes etc.. • Act as an HSE link and promote good HSE practices. Watch for safe behavior and escalate any issues

Your profile

• 10+ years work experience in Supply Chain within a similar environment with at least 5 years of experience in team management • Technical background and APICS certification • Expert in supply and demand/SIOP processes • Strong knowledge into operational purchasing activities • Natural leadership with strong communication skills • Pragmatic and analytical skills develop meaningful demand plan. • Can work at a very tactical level in improvement activities as well as at a higher level for reporting and workshops. Is at ease with interaction at all level of hierarchy in the plant • At ease with direct management as well as influencing people on a different level • Proficiency with SAP and Excel • French fluent, good command of English required, German a plus
