In order to reinforce our group "Energy - Global Sales Support" we are looking for a:

Sales Support Engineer (back office) - Energy

The Position

The main responsibilities for this role are:

• Support to the global sales groups from opportunity to post order support; to include, but not limited to: information requests, quotation activities, and opportunity management. • Work with the global sales managers on orders and administrative tasks from order to delivery, • Work with Global Support Management and Sales to ensure that the entire sales process is conducted in accordance with all MSS and Meggitt SA defined processes to include all applicable ISO and internal QA procedures and Export Control rules. • Serve as the Sales team proposal and order interface to requests and coordinate transformer proposal related inputs from other functional areas (e.g., Customer support, Finance, Contracts, Sales) • Coordinate proposal development from RFQ receipt to proposal submittal, and complete the commercial steps of the proposal process • Complete commercial steps of the order booking process • Complete Customer questionnaires and online portal requirements. • Create and proactively communicate schedule requirements to key stakeholders of the proposal and order processes • Ensure the final proposal document includes all approved commercial and technical deviations/language and review / enhance the document for professional quality • Possess a professional communication style when interfacing with internal and external customers • Perform escalation calculations and billing / invoicing requirements • Provide the first level Meggitt SA internal back up for all sales managers when absent. • Support the sales manager and office (i.e., Budget and RFs). • Liaise with Meggitt SA Order Processing and Production for specific clarifications, e.g delivery times and Trade Compliance issues • Effectively communicate key issues to Management, Order Processing and Production • Assist in driving process improvements for the proposal tasks

Your Profile

• Engineering Degree (ideally in Electronic or Turbomachinery) • Strong interest in evolving • Good knowledge of MS-Office tools • Very good command of SAP (or other ERP system) and Salesforce an asset • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German. French or is an advantage • Ability to integrate within a small team • Reliable, teamplayer • Ready to travel abroad
