Meggitt Avionics Inc in New Hampshire
becomes Vibro-Meter, Inc.
Effective August 1, 2002, Meggitt Avionics Inc. has changed it's name to Vibro-Meter, Inc. This name change is consistent with the realignment of our products.
With the formation of Vibro-Meter, Inc., we begin a new and exciting stage in our company's dedication to the aerospace and industrial sensor markets we have served for over fifty years. In addition to the engine sensor and optical detector product lines, we also offer products and services from the Vibro-Meter Fluid Monitoring Division, and Vibro-Meter SA in Fribourg, Switzerland.
Vibro-Meter, Inc. will continue to focus on the aerospace, aircraft engine, industrial gas turbine, and process related industries. Our product range includes: oil/fuel level sensing and indicating systems, oil debris monitoring and chip collection systems, engine sensors and indicators, vibration monitors, process control instrumentation, and optical flame/fire detectors. More importantly, our closer affiliation with Vibro-Meter SA enables us to capitalize on synergies between our product groups, and thus increase our ability to service our valued customer and supplier bases.
As an ISO-9001 company, we will continue to manufacture, market and service these items from our facility in Manchester, New Hampshire. Additionally, we will also provide marketing, engineering, and product support for the Vibro-Meter SA customer base, particularly those located in North and South America.
We are excited about our future, committed to growing with our customers, and look forward to the opportunity to continue to enhance our commitment to the markets we serve.
