Vibro-Meter's New ERP System Goes Live January 3rd
Meggitt and Vibro-Meter have invested in a new SAP R/3 ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. As a first step, this will replace the functions of the previous MRP system. Once the new system is shown to be performing as intended, additional capabilities will be added.
The main objective is to improve the efficiency of our order processing, purchasing and manufacturing procedures, thereby reducing delivery times to customers and improving delivered-on-time performance.
This large and important project has been under way for nearly two years. Careful planning and extensive training should ensure a smooth change-over on January 3rd.
