Vibro-Meter Inc cuts ribbon on new facility

State and local officials were on hand as Vibro-Meter Inc marked the formal opening of its new facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 11, 2006.

Vibro-Meter Inc was originally incorporated in New Jersey in 1922 as the Daven Radio Corporation. It expanded through mergers and acquisitions over the next 80 years, changed names several times, and relocated to New Hampshire in the 1940s. It became known as Vibro-Meter Inc in 2002.

In 2003, faced with the lease expiration of its previouis location near the expanding Manchester Airport, consideration was given to relocating the company out of state. However, the strong support received from both state and congressional delegations and the broader community facilitated the decision to remain in new Hampshire.

Vibro-Meter Inc are pleased with their decision to remain in New Hampshire and are confident that, with this new state-of-the-art facility, they are now firmly established and in position to continue their growth for many years to come. New Hampshire offers an excellent business environment, well developed infrastructure, skilled work force and, of course, strong community support.

Invited, but unable to attend, were NH Governor John Lynch, and Congressman Charlie Bass.
