Vibro-Meter Celebrates it's Golden Anniversary ... 50 years of excellence in measurement and monitoring
This year, Vibro-Meter celebrates 50 years of existence. While there are several possible dates when it could be said that the firm was started, we have chosen October 27th, 1952, the day that Dr. Adolf Merkle registered Vibro-Meter with the Fribourg authorities.
The first premises were rented rooms above a garage in the town of Fribourg, and the first products were strain-gauge sensors for load, force and torque. In 1958, Vibro-Meter moved to its present site at Moncor n the outskirts of Fribourg.
The foundation of Vibro-Meter, the progress of our technologies and products, our past and visition for te future, are all being compiled in a book retracing the first 50 years of Vibro-Meter. It will be a pleasure to offer a copy of our history book to our customers.
In parallel, we will be celebrating our golden anniversary with special events for staff, families, and friends throughout the year.
