Customer Support Manager, Industrial Markets - Ref. IM-71

Vibro-Meter SA (part of Meggitt PLC) is a high-tech company currently employing over 550 people at its headquarters in Fribourg, Switzerland. Our company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of condition monitoring systems for propulsion units and machinery for both the aerospace and industrial markets.

Our Industrial & Marine Division provides complete protection-, condition-, and performance monitoring solutions for all rotating machinery applications. Besides developing a comprehensive range of transducers and associated hardware, as well as software based condition and performance monitoring systems, an excellent and efficient customer support is the key to success.

The Position

Together with your team, you are responsible to define customer support & service strategies, to direct technical support to customers and subsidiaries and to coordinate service activities with all sales / service partners worldwide. You plan, develop and conduct training with customers and partners as well as prepare, offer and negotiate service agreements. Acquiring market intelligence related to the service business, attending conferences & international exhibitions are also part of this challenging role. Last but not least, you motivate all involved worldwide partners to support our strategy.

Your profile

You have a degree in electronics engineering and at least 3 years of proven management experience in a similar role and environment, and ideally you have a knowledge of systems in the field of machinery surveillance. You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with people from all functions of an organisation. You are a customer oriented self-starter and a team player with a multicultural mind-set. Excellent knowledge in English is required. French or German would be an advantage.
