Company History
Vibro-Meter France (Angoulême) - formerly ECET - was acquired in 2005 by Meggitt. It is an established manufacturer and supplier of ignition systems, sensors, and electronic products to the aerospace and derivative markets.
Vibro-Meter France can trace its history to 1956, when it was founded by Vibro-Meter-Switzerland. The company was acquired by Meggitt in 1998. In 2005 it increased presence in France through acquisition of ECET, now its Angoulême facility, and Sensorex.
ECET obtained its position within the framework of external development, specially LABEM airborne instruments and pressure sensors, ABG high energy ignition activities and speed sensors, and EYQUEM Aviation ignition systems.
