Vibro-Meter, Inc. is pleased to announce the upcoming relocation of our business to 144 Harvey Road, Londonderry, New Hampshire. The new site is located approximately 1.5 miles from our current site on a 14-acre woodland lot overlooking the rapidly expanding Manchester Airport. The new facility comprises a state of the art 62,900 sq ft manufacturing and office complex designed to our specifications.
The phased re-location of equipment, processes and people will commence in early April with completion targeted for July 1st 2006. VMI has prepared a detailed schedule for the re-location, with the assistance of dedicated external consulting and project management teams. As preparation of the new facility gathers pace, a planned inventory build schedule is also being followed to ensure that no customer delivery schedules are impacted due to the re-location.
VMI is confident that the move to a modern manufacturing facility will enhance our ability to implement our ongoing continuous improvement initiatives and realize our commitment to customer satisfaction. To support continued growth, the site has additional capacity for a future phased expansion to a total footprint of 100,000 sq ft.
